Hi! Trying to find a movie from either the 1960-1980’s.
It’s about a mother who suffers severe mental illness and I believe alcoholism as well. She lives in a house with her husband and children.
I remember a scene where she chases her kids through the house, and another scene where her husband has work friends over for dinner and she acts crazy and it causes a fight. The mother is a fairly famous leading actress from what I remember.
I think in the end she attempts to harm herself and her husband forces her to treatment.
