This is what I remember. It was in a bedroom, in a house. Maybe one or two boys started getting flattened from their feet to their heads, while in bed at night. Their conscious or life force went into an orb or sphere that was floating above the bed. It was some type of alien movie, I believe. Made in late 70s or early to mid 80s.
