Movie where the girl asks to kill her beloved one

Looking for a name of a movie, possibly a fantasy one, in which a girl for some unlogical reason asks to kill the young man she had feelings for. After some time she changed her mind, but she cannot cancel the “contract” anymore, and she was trying to save this guy (possibly by sacrificing herself but I am not sure in this part). The google search didn’t help, because it is possible that this was just a subplot, and the main story was about something else.

Hi. What year or decade could that movie be from? Is it an American, European or Asian movie?

I might remeber it super wrong of course, but I have a feeling it is an American movie released between 2000 and 2016. But it is also possible it is French , British or somewhere around there :thinking:

Maybe “The Mexican”?:

Very interesting, that when I read this suggestion I was like "Oh yeah, this must be it!". After re-watching it I couldn't find that scene. But The Mexican was giving me a very positive feeling that movie I am looking is somehow similar in its vibe - slightly absurd comedy with not so high rating

So after a The Mexican suggestion I started to go through movies again and realized this is the one I was looking for - “Platon”. It is not American, but Russian movie, and I apologize for this mistake. This movie was so illogical that no wonder it was so hard to remember I have even watched it. After checking the trailer and several scenes I still couldn’t recognize the plot except this one ridiculous moment about asking to kill and then changing mind 5 minutes later.
