I remember watching a sci fi movie where a crew when to space to test a machine that had I save earth and in doing so they end up in a parallel universe…in the movie there was a black female scientist who was a part of the crew and when she was on earth she invented some type of energy thing that ended up exploding or something and killing her son. While she was in the parallel universe her son wasnt dead yet so she was able to send a message to herself to tel her not to make the invention…what is this movie ???
