I wacthed this as a kind on French television. A movie with an endscene where some guy has a crane on a boat and picks up a torpedo which has stranded on the beach (of an island) in last minutes he can’t hold it anymore, the tropedo drops and explodes (I thought).
Quote from the movie’s above Wikipedia page:
" Murphy uses the crane to recover an unexploded torpedo fired earlier by the U-boat and drops it on the trapped crew, killing them. Murphy is also killed as the explosion from the torpedo causes the crane jib to pin him to the deck as the floating crane sinks to the river bed."
