My friend looking for a movie, probably from 80s or 90s. The protagonist is a handicapped girl who, as an elderly woman, tells the story of her life. The girl was mute, had a blue dress and black hair. She has a brother who plays the piano and teaches her to speak by communicating through the piano.
It isn’t a movie “The Piano” directed by Jane Campion.
I will check this, but I think that important motiff was brother or cousin, who teaches mute girl "speaking" by a piano. It is something similar to "Amy" (1997).
