the movie has to do with a female protagonist that witnesses an old women killing herself but before she does she throws away some letters. the protagonist ends up finding these and travels back in time. she meets a man after time traveling through the letters where she ends up having a relationship with him , he is abusive and married. the plot twist of the movie was that he was actually her father and she was the women, as a child, to be her fathers mistress
