The story follows a man who is suicidal and is about to jump off a dock, but before he does that, an older man approaches him and stops him from killing himself. Then he takes him to a bar to get some drinks. After that I think they go to a party and each of them take some girls to their hotel rooms to have sex. It ends with a quote from some book iirc. I think it was either brazilian or portuguese.

No i don’t think it’s any of those. that list only includes movies from the 2000s onwards though, and the one I’m talking about could be from the 90s/80s, I can’t remember very well though
