Hello, friends. I came across a description of this film and became interested. Unfortunately, I can’t say for sure what decade it was filmed in. I’m guessing in the 1990s or early 2000s. I’m also not sure what country it was made in. The description is as follows:
“An Asian agent accidentally kills a gangster while on a mission. The killed man’s brother, also a bandit, a tall, blond man, learns of this and makes an attempt on the agent’s life. The agent is in critical condition. Then his best friend, a military doctor and scientist, implants a newly invented chip, previously tested only on a dog, into the agent’s brain. But with such a chip, some other person can remotely control the emotions and actions of its bearer. The blond criminal learns that the agent is alive and begins to hunt him. Moreover he seizes the base from which the chip (and therefore its bearer) can be controlled. This is a hard ordeal for the agent. His teacher, also Chinese, helps him control his emotions, but then he is killed. The agent engages in a fight with the psychotic blond man, who, as it turns out, also has a similar chip. Everything ends with an explosion at a military base and the frantic scream of the blond man, who was never fully killed.”
Thank you for your attention. Note that there may be some inaccuracies in the description.
Does this ring any bells?
