I saw a film from Latin America years ago. The story: A film director from Spain was in prison for murder. He was jealous of the actress in his film and asked a detective to watch her. The detective and his nephew spied on the young lady. Over time, the nephew became interested in his uncle’s wife.
The film director’s wife was from Spain. I don’t know the country, the currency was called pesos. The woman wanted to exchange money, but by mistake bought pesos treasury bonds. The film director used his last money to ask a hitman to kill the actress.
It so happened that the private detective was in the actress’ bed when the strongly religious killer came into the room and killed them both.
The private detective’s nephew married his uncle’s widow and continued his company.
A story like this from the 70s or 80s of the 20th century, the film was definitely in Spanish and took place somewhere in Latin America.
