I think this was a movie, or possibly a TV show, from when I was a child - 65 years ago, and people were trapped on an island with wolverines. Their bites were deadly and the suspense of trying to escape these animals was terrifying to me then. They had to build these metal containers to get off the island to a boat. Can’t find this anywhere.

“The Killer Shrews” (1959)
Not wolverines, but shrews, but other than that, it seems to fit the bill. The year is a match, group of people on an isolated island, giant shrews terrorizing them.

When the coast seems clear Jerry runs towards shore but is cut off and killed by shrews. Thorne, Ann, and Marlowe reach the shoreline, ditch the armor, and swim out to the boat. Safely aboard and confident that they will make it back to the mainland, Thorne and Ann share a kiss.”

The Killer Shrews was right and I was able to get a copy.
Also one question I had on a movie with a famous actor where a plate of food was pushed in his lap was Designing Woman - Gregory Peck and Lauren Bacall - 1957.
Can you tell me how to remove that post from this forum, or should I even do that?
