There was a film that abruptly began where a troubled boy falls asleep and then falls through his bedroom floor! It was trying to be surreal. It is hard to remember a lot of the details. By the end there was a fat chef or three of them who were trying to shout at the boy or sing or chant and he may have been flying away on a spoon and there may have been noodles flying up the air. Does that hit any one?

No but that is a curious movie. The movie I saw was more like a film, a short film. It was not anime it was openly make shift. It seemed above the 90's and it began where a boy fell through that bedroom floor!
