Release date: 2010-2020.
The setting is a forest. The climate is not cold enough to have snow.
The nose of the plane with the pilot inside breaks off during the landing. The story focuses on the rest of the people on the plane, we only get to see the pilot’s fate later.
The survivors gathered the bodies of those who didn’t survive the crash in a pile.
At night, they took refuge inside the wrecked fuselage of the plane and from there, someone sees the creature dragging a corpse away. He’s freaked out by its humanoid shape but no one believes him, everybody assumes it must have been a bear.
There is a scene when someone walks a bit further away from the wreck to pee, until he’s startled by footsteps near him, while everybody is accounted for back at the plane.
In another scene, people are sitting around a campfire and all of a sudden, one of them gets pulled into the darkness of the woods, screaming.
The victim had a turned on flashlight, the light of which the people around the campfire saw getting farther away in the darkness and up a hill with such speed that it leaved them puzzled and afraid.
In another scene, the survivors find the nose of the plane with the pilot inside.
His legs are trapped in the wreck. He hands a flare gun to one of the survivors and says “Kill it!”.
In the end, at least one person makes it out of the woods and the locals they encounter seem to be aware of the being that hunts in the forest and they have rules against going in there.
The creature was always shrouded in shadows, maybe it was afraid of the light.
