I can’t quite remember the first film but I remember the rich patriarch gets shot in his house but ends up surviving. He was quite fat, looked like a teddy bear.
The sequel is the one I remember the most. The rich patriarch is shot again but this time he dies. His widow ends up marrying his jealous brother who then kicks all their kids out of the house. One of the kids (the eldest son) is practically chased out of the house with the uncle threatening to him with his shoe or belt. There’s also a daughter who was sent to the village and she cries about having to eat rice and stew because she wants to eat salad instead. She dies in the end. The son returns home and there’s a stand off with the uncle but I can’t quite remember the ending.
