Sci-fi, hero, futurist, gods and religion movie that is very Meta and has the most overt use of the circle, square, triangle theory👍

The movie I’m trying to find was released around 2004 I think. It went strait to DVD at a time when DVD’s were dying out in the stores. It starts out with an animation about the gods and how some of them influence humans on earth. One god sends his children to earth and they are very human in personality for children of gods. The movie has lots of sci-fi science things and gadgets in it. I think the sons go down to prove witch is stronger, science or religion. lots of cussing, some gratuitous violence though though I don’t know that you would think of it as a violent movie. Various sections of the movie start with the image of a circle, Square, or triangle on a black (i think ) background. There is a little blue alien that looks like a little blue teddy bear about the size of a puppy but cusses and tells foul jokes. He thinks he is the last of his kind till they find out the last female of his kind (an Octopus) is being used as a material source for a 3D printer the government developed to produce a miraculous new material that is like carbon fiber on steroids mixed with titanium but it is a charcoal color.

There is a scientist in it and he and his friend start a company after working at an old government research facility. the facility had a crazy information hub system that looks like light beams going from node to node that exabits and actual pushing force when you put something in the way of the beam. The two friends have a sort of Steve jobs and Wozniacki sort of partnership. They get the government to give them contracts and make all sorts of impossible things

The actor that first found and protected the blue teddy bear alien Looks just like Kurt Russel but Kurt was not listed on the credits so if it is him he chose not to add it to his credits. The movie is great if you see it but did terribly sales wise. i believe is cost more to make it then they ever made on it.

This is not the horror movies called circle and triangle and cube.

Thia may also not be 2004 it could be a year earlier or a year later but the date sticks out to me. I watched it on a DVD someone had in 2013 or 2014. They had purchased it from one of those DVD warehouse distributors That sell to people with a license to show movies publicly. I don’t know if that helps but not many of these were produced as large buyers of DVDs like Best buy and Walmart were trying to reduce the foot print of their DVD sections at the time not increase them which was the real reason for the movies low circulation and sales not the movie quality it’s self.

If I remember right from the behind the scenes at the end it also took way longer in production than expected because scenes kept getting added. Maybe it was in production for 4 years?

one of the many strange inventions they came up with in the film was a molecule for medical use that they made into a cream that when you put it on a scar or burn is actually reversed time on the injury so it didn’t heal so much as never happened.

One of the scientists tried to make a version of it that would go forward in time but it required a lot of energy so he funneled the core of the earth up through a bore hoe they made. It worked and he made it but it turned into an indestructible crystal that he could not cut into pieces and use and it also froze the earths core in time and there for the earth started loosing its atmosphere. He could have reversed it but he would loose the molecule and not be able to make it again so he kept putting it off and making other solutions to fix the side effects instead of just reversing it. He finally fixes it but is so excited he forgot to make a collection devise to catch it and it falls back to the core of the earth with the molecule and he only gets a small piece of it.
