The story takes place in Spain, the protagonist is a 20-something girl who would like to have a ‘normal’ and happy life and feels she does not belong, unlike her younger brother who has Down’s syndrome but is happy, well adjusted, and has lots of friends. She wants to sort out her life so she contacts an ex classmate whose boyfriend owns an art gallery; she hangs out with her and her friends for a while, but this does not work out. Eventually she meets a guy who has a weird hobby that has something to do with carrots, or something like that, and finds happiness with him. I only remember the film was Spanish and relatively recent (post-2010 maybe) but nothing else, I’m afraid.
“Yo, también” (2009), also known as “Mee Too”
