Suction Cup Therapy, - death scene

I remember seeing a movie probably 40 or 50 years ago. The plot involved a man whose partner was dying in town likely in Europe or Mediterranean city. I think she was relatively young. There was a memorable scene where he was caring for her doing a suction cup therapy. He was talking to her soothingly as he removed each cup, making a popping sound.

Outside the house, a group of women were waiting. After she dies the man walks out and seems indifferent as all the women gleefully raid the house for her clothes and belongings

This scene left a impression on me, but I was too young at the time to understand it.

Does anyone know what movie this could be?

MABV thanks so much! Wow, I'm shocked. First the scene is so much "worse" than I remember. And while reviewing clips I just watched the murder of the widow. I had no idea!! You see, around 1975 when I was 8 or 9, my artist dad, who was passionate about everything, took us went to Corfu and I remember such a fun trip one evening we did the simple zorba dance that everyone enjoyed. My dad would play the music now and then in his studio and would take me right back there.

When Anthony Quinn died in 2001 I saw the scene in a news story where he tells his young friend that he was once "married; wife, kids, the whole catastrophe"! I thought that was such an great line, and I still use it today like I think someone will know what I'm talking about! And for whatever reason I looked it up again over the past few years and watched the dance scene where they dance together in such a lovely, magnificent and joyous moment. I don't remember actually ever seeing it before (though I must have.)

I would have never in my wildest dreams thought this was all the same movie! https://youtu.be/BS0w3Wkric8?si=KAVGBVaHLeas_ilO I guess it's time to actually watch it! Do you remember if the scene with the suction cups was also in this movie? Or perhaps it was another?

I have not seen the movie, but on the IMDb page of the movie, amongst the plot keywords for the movie there is the keyword "cupping glass", so that scene should also be in the movie.: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057831/keywords/?ref_=tt_stry_kw

The movie is here, Kel1lek: https://ok.ru/video/1743565032088 Fire cupping: 1:59:45 At first I thought it would be an Italian film in the style of Fellini or Rossellini. I found it by searching for that term (ā€œfire cuppingā€) in Wikipedia, where ā€œZorba...ā€ is mentioned, and it seemed to me that it had to be that one because of what you mentioned about the Mediterranean place. Everything you say is really interesting. You must have many stories to tell. Thanks for sharing! And of course thank you, Casspir, for your contribution.
