I’m looking for the name of a series; it’s a sci-fi show featuring regular actors (i.e. not animated) somewhere in Europe, where young people from another time come to our time and can only move in suits that replace their muscles.
They are afraid of heights and stairs, and in their time, there are even physical competitions to see who can go up a few stairs without a suit.
It’s a children’s series, probably from around 1980-1995.
The characters were mostly school-aged, and part of the plot took place in a school. There was nothing about space in it.
There was one negative character who ended up in a gym, trapped within equipment, after being transported, where he was caught by future police.
The main hero learns to function without the suit, meaning with his own muscles.
The main hero from the future swaps places with someone from the present, probably a double, and lives somewhere in a house with stairs.
Without suits they walk like drunk
