This is a hard one - my last effort to find this movie, I have been searching for years

I hope one of you can help me out. It has been killing me for years.

I watched a movie in the early 2000’s (somewhere between 2006-2013). I remember just one scene:
a girl (young woman) is on a school bus, and is watching out the window as a man (appears evil) is trying to come after her. The man had to have some type of supernatural powers, as I believe he was traveling underground? and at a high rate of speed. I thought that he looked like Beetlejuice, and for a long time I think I wrote it off as being Beetlejuice, but I watched Beetlejuice recently and the scene I remember was not in the movie.

I know it’s not much to go on, but I hope someone can help. I remember it did spook me a bit, it was definitely supposed to be scary; or at least it was for a teenage girl home alone at night.
