Throwing cakes, funny scene and young man

I’m looking for an old comedy — it was a movie or a sitcom, probably with laughter in the background. Definitely in color. Probably British or American, in which people threw cakes at each other at a party, and later there was a scene where a young man said: “Don’t attack me, I’m too young to die!” and then they attacked him and threw him through a wall, I think, because there was a big hole in the wall.

I watched this between 1997 and 2000.

Maybe the “In the Sweet Pie and Pie”, a 1941 comedy short starring The Three Stooges. Colorized versions of this short were available and frequently aired on TV in the late 1990s. There is crashing into a wall, throwing pies, cakes and laughter in it.
