Around 15 years ago I watched a TV film that had massive impact on my life. It is about a family, parents and two teenage boys. In the beginning, the boys throw rocks on their dad’s car. The father suffers from PTSD and during the flashbacks he repeats his service number, which ends in “2-0”. The mother struggles to keep the family functioning, but fails and child services take away the boys, placing them with foster family where the mother’s name is Louise. In one scene, the boys reminiscing about their bio mom’s spaghetti with the burned ones at the bottom of the pot, after which the younger bursts in tears. The film ends with the mom get her boys back by court, with her lawyer tells her he found a house for them to live.
