Very late 60’s, 1970’s or very early 80’s

Possibly before opening credits. But I’m not sure.

Family gathering/party. Multigenerational guests/family. Multilevel home. Festive, happy, celebratory. Doorbell rings. Stranger in a rain poncho at the door. Enters and massacres the family. Uses knives, scissors and heavy things from around the home. Young person hides in a room upstairs. The stranger is about to leave, but the child’s toy makes noise alerting the stranger. He finishes the massacre. (I think the toy is one of those cymbal monkey things, but not positive).

I think it is “tales from the hood” or “you’re next”
