I have just rewatched this recent Netflix movie and there is a scene exactly like you describe early in the movie. Mark Wahlberg is a construction worker, he sleeps with an older woman (his old high-school teacher), after that, next day in the morning, he comes downstairs and there he is, the son of the woman, dressed in a suit, in the kitchen eating his breakfast. Wahlberg is surprised, says hello to the son in suit, and the mother also greets her son.
The scene is exactly as you described.
