Possible 1970s-1980s Movie
The movie starts with a thunderstorm over a cabin in the middle of the woods from what i can remember, que the white midwife taking care of a seemingly colicky baby you would presume is hers until a phone call tells you otherwise. The baby’s mother died in the hospital and the baby is having withdrawals. The midwife is secretly micro dosing the baby to keep them from dying (the hospital wouldn’t allow it and was going to let the baby die).
A black man appears in her driveway and tells her his car broke down, she lets him in to call a tow truck only to discover he kidnapped the baby. He tells her she’s the kidnapper and he is the father of the baby. She is in disbelief because the baby is white (the mother was white). He gets halfway down the driveway in the middle of the storm when the baby became unresponsive and turned blue, he brought the baby back to the woman begging for help and she explained the baby needs medicine and the hospitals restrictions. That is where I remember up to, please help
